Little did we know, when scheduling our second auction of 2024 on March 7th it fell on ‘Alexander Graham Bell Day’ in Canada – a coincidence not lost on us, as the phones were certainly ringing for our auction lots!

Our auction results speak for themselves, selling 100% of lots offered in the room! As Auction House Sussex & Hampshire run by Austin Gray & established since 1985, we brought to auction an exciting diversity of properties & locations in our March auction - be it: 

A 5-bedroom detached house set in 2.5 acres, brought to market for the first time in 50yrs,
A Grade II detached fire damaged property,
A Grade II listed leasehold apartment in a period property suffering from subsidence,
A four storey Victorian property – arranged as 3 flats & tenanted,
A retirement flat in a purpose-built block,
An apartment, forming part of this Grade II listed Regency mansion – with a short lease

……….. illustrating just how varied the type of property sold at auction can be.
